Roles and Responsibilities
Contractors
- Clearly understand and communicate Chevron Thailand HES commitments, policies and expectations to their employees and subcontractors.
- Perform job evaluations, on-site inspections and HES reviews.
- Ensure that subcontractors are trained and follow Chevron Thailand HES expectations.
- Use "Stop Work Authority" when observing unsafe acts or conditions.
- Develop and implement HES programs that as a minimum, meet Chevron Thailand expectations.
- Assume HES responsibility for daily operations.
- Update Contractor Safety Questionnaire completely and annually.
- Ensure that employees are trained in the contractor’s internal HES processes and that they are aware of the requirements on Chevron sites.
- Ensure their personnel are appropriately trained and qualified to perform assigned tasks.
