NST Aviation Center Announcement
As the full
operations of our new Aviation Center in Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST)
province will commence in the second week of this month, efforts
have been continued to assist our colleagues in adjusting themselves
to their new working and living environment in the transition
period.
It is also important that all Chevron personnel including Business
Partners and Service Provider Companies understand and appreciate
local traditions and respect people’s ways of life to help us become
part of the NST communities. Thus, the “Do’s and Don’ts for
newcomers to NST” brochure has been produced by applying Chevron’s
core values as the behavioral guidelines for working, traveling and
daily living in this province. The brochure will be
distributed at the check-in counter at the new air base in NST.

Chevron Thailand is focus on reducing incidents related to
Hire

). Chevron defines an
SSE as any contractor (or employee) with less than six months
experience in the same job type or with his/her present employer.
The objective of this program is to ensure that contractors short
service employees are identified, appropriately supervised, trained,
mentored, and managed in order to prevent accidents such as personal

Chevron Thailand - PPE Requirements
Chevron is continually striving towards our goal
of Zero Incidents for the Gulf of Thailand, it’s notable that 73 %
of our injuries are related to hand safety. In many cases this was
inadequate risk identification, using improper PPE, or not utilizing
PPE at all. There’s no excuse for a hand injury that could have been
prevented by wearing the proper gloves. PPE is always our last line
of defense but should never be overlooked; this includes hard hats,
steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc. Please use
this presentation to remind everyone that identifying the risks and
wearing PPE appropriate to the task is not an option…. THIS IS A
REQUIREMENT.
